Our founder spent years in a polymer materials laboratory, formulating silicone compounds and studying elastomer behavior at the molecular level. Then came the transition to foreign trade — 9 years of working with international buyers who needed custom rubber and silicone parts.
The frustration was always the same: buyers sent drawings to trading companies, trading companies forwarded them to factories, and nobody in between actually understood the engineering. Wall thickness too thin? Draft angle missing? Wrong material for the application? These issues surfaced only after tooling was cut — when revisions were expensive.
THOR-SOFT was founded to fix this. We put engineering first: every drawing is reviewed by a process engineer before quoting. Every material recommendation is backed by lab data, not guesswork.

Milestones Along the Way
The Foundation
Founded with a small team of polymer engineers. First compression molding press installed. First client: a German automotive seal buyer who needed FDA-grade EPDM gaskets.
Expansion into LSR
Added LSR injection molding capability. First medical device client — silicone valve seals for a US medical manufacturer. ISO 9001 certification achieved.
Rubber Compression Line
Expanded into rubber compression molding (NBR, FKM, CR, EPDM). Began serving industrial equipment and oil & gas sectors. Team grew to 25 people.
DFM Service Launch
Launched our DFM (Design for Manufacturability) feedback service — free for all quoting clients. Published our first DFM Guide, now referenced by 200+ design teams worldwide.
Extrusion & Overmolding
Added silicone extrusion and overmolding capabilities. Now offering all 5 major silicone/rubber processes under one roof. Client base reaches 15 countries.
ISO 13485 Compliance
Achieved ISO 13485 compliance for medical device manufacturing. Installed Class 100 cleanroom for LSR medical parts. FDA registration completed.
30+ Countries Served
THOR-SOFT parts now ship to 30+ countries across North America, Europe, and Asia-Pacific. Over 500 active tooling projects. 98% on-time delivery rate.
Digital Engineering Platform
Launched online DFM Guide and instant quoting platform. Buyers can now submit drawings and receive engineering feedback within 24 hours — no back-and-forth, no language barriers.
